Trial Of 5 Ex-Berkut Officers Accused Of Shooting 48 Euromaidan Activists Adjourned To 13:00 On November 28

The Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv has adjourned the case against five former Berkut riot police officers accused of shooting 48 Euromaidan activists to 13:00 on November 28.

Ukrainian News Agency correspondent reported from the courtroom.

Before adjourning the case, the Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv agreed the date and time of the next session with a court in Rostov-on-Don (Russia).

Former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has confirmed that he will participate in the court session via a video link.

The date of the next session (December 2) was also discussed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, activists from the Right Sector party have blocked the removal of former Berkut riot police officers Pavlo Abroskin, Serhii Zinchenko, Oleksandr Marynchenko, Serhii Tamtura, and Oleh Yanishevskyi, who are accused of killing 48 Euromaidan activists, from the Lukianivka remand prison.
