The USA Embassy in Ukraine is blocked by the activists who perform their action near the building. Naked students pelted the diplomatic representation with hundred-dollar notes with the images of the Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Gontaryeva and the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. Girls from "The European Student Council of Ukraine" demanded a meeting with the new USA Ambassador Mari Jovanovich to give her an appeal and materials of evidence of corruption among high-ranking Ukrainian officials. According to the action performers, the United States must stop "feed up" the Ukrainian government by loans, until in the country the real fight against corruption would not begin. In particular, the activists demanded that the United States called upon the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to investigate persons from his environment, who are suspected of laundering the money stolen from the state budget. Activists assert that the Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Gontaryeva is involved in the financial schemes of the ex-President Viktor Yanukovych. In 2013 year the Gontaryeva’s company Investment Capital Ukraine as a broker was a participant in transactions in the amount of 1.5 bn. USD for the benefit of Cypriot companies owned by close to Yanukovych officials. At this time accounts of these companies in Ukrainian banks have arrested, but the investigation of the persons, involved in criminal schemes, actually stopped. How activists assure, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine can’t receive Gontaryeva’s evidence, which is one of the main participants in this case. To attract the attention of American diplomats, activists made a performance near the Embassy: naked girls, wearing a masks depicting the Head of the National Bank, "washed" in basins with the inscription ICU towels with the image of hundred-dollar notes. According to girls, the performance visually demonstrates the process of washing the "dirty money" of Yanukovych with help by an investment company of "the main she-banker of the country". As activists said, in the USA for financial schemes with money obtained through corruption, officials and politicians are threatened a long imprisonment. However, in Ukraine they are not only unpunished, but continue to hold high posts in government. Activists gave the appeal to USA Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, promising to perform their actions on a regular basis until they receive a response from the USA authorities. Earlier Ukrainian analytical publication "Glavcom" has published the results of trading on the exchange "Perspektyva", where the purchase and sale of securities of Ukrainian issuers occurs. Documents confirm that the well-known investment company Investment Capital Ukraine in 2013 year made transactions for the benefit of Cypriot companies worth over a billion dollars. In 2014 year the General Prosecutor of Ukraine arrested accounts of these companies in Ukrainian banks. The investigation revealed that the means, operated by Investment Capital Ukraine, were stolen from the state budget, derived from the Ukraine and then returned to the country as a private foreign investment. The owner and the head of the company was the actual Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Gontaryeva. Ukrainian parliamentary deputies Sergei Vlasenko and Alexandra Kuzhel are sure that Gontaryeva understood the corrupt origin of the means which she was working with and she must bear not only political, but also criminal responsibility.
