Since the start of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 79 times.
This is stated in the operational report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy Region, the settlements of Neskuchne, Koreniok, Sopych, Kucherivka, Rohizne, Ulanove, Buvalyne, Bachivsk, and Hirky were hit; in the Chernihiv Region—Khotiivka and Prohres.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy carried out 34 attacks on settlements and the positions of our troops, including five attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the invaders made seven attempts to break through the defenses in the areas around the settlements of Prylipka and Starytsia, as well as toward the settlements of Ternova, Izbytske, and Khatnie. One firefight is ongoing.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy launched one attack toward Shyikivka.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian troops repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance toward Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kryva Luka and Zakytne, as well as toward Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One combat clash is still ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk axis, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, our defenders repelled 17 attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Stepanivka. Two combat clashes are ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk axis, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 22 times to dislodge our troops from their positions in the areas around the settlements of Shakhove, Sofiivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward the settlements of Vilne, Nove Shakhove, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, and Myrne. One clash is still ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy launched two attacks toward Verbove and Berezove.
On the Huliaipole axis, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks toward the settlements of Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Hirke, and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv and Dnipro axes, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
On other axes, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.
Ukrainian troops are wearing down the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.
