For Kyiv residents, the cost of centralized water supply and sewerage services will be UAH 63.79 per cubic meter, meaning it will more than double. It was announced by the Kyiv City Military Administration, according to the Ukrainian News agency.
“The tariff of nearly UAH 90 per cubic meter is not be implemented for Kyiv residents. This is an economically justified tariff calculated by PrJSC ‘JSC Kyivvodokanal.’ It will not be applied at this time. The city has not approved this rate. For Kyiv residents, the cost of centralized water supply and wastewater services will be UAH 63.79 per cubic meter. The corresponding rate was approved by the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities back in 2024,” the statement reads.
Thus, the Kyiv City State Administration notes that, given the average cold water consumption in Kyiv, the water bill for a family of three will increase by UAH 200–300.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the current base rate for cold water and wastewater services for Kyiv residents is UAH 30.38 per cubic meter (water supply—UAH 16.16, wastewater—UAH 14.22).
"Kyivvodokanal" has submitted calculations to city authorities to raise the rate to UAH 88.90 per cubic meter.
