Ambassadors of the Netherlands and Canada concluding their diplomatic missions in Ukraine

Dutch Ambassador Alle Dorhout and Canadian Ambassador Natalka Cmoc are concluding their diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has announced this.

Sybiha held meetings with the ambassadors on the eve of the conclusion of their service in Ukraine and expressed gratitude for their contributions to the development of relations between the two countries.

In particular, he highlighted the Netherlands’ leadership in the F-16 coalition, in strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience, and in supporting Ukraine’s European future. During the meeting with Dorhout, they discussed further cooperation between the countries, including intensifying sanctions pressure on russia, combating russia’s “shadow fleet,” opening all negotiation clusters on Ukraine’s path to EU membership, and further steps to hold russia accountable for the crime of aggression.

Meanwhile, discussions with Cmoć focused on the current state and prospects for the development of the Ukrainian-Canadian partnership, further coordination of efforts to counter russian aggression, as well as issues related to Ukraine’s reconstruction and economic recovery. He noted that during the ambassador’s tenure, “historic visits” at the highest level had taken place, along with the conclusion of a security agreement and its subsequent implementation.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine’s new Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi announced the preparation of a new government action plan. He instructed all ministries to submit relevant proposals within the next 7 days.
