Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and russian dictator vladimir putin both want the war to end, US President Donald Trump said. His remarks were reported by Clash Report on Monday, July 6.
Trump said that the war in Ukraine is much closer to ending than it currently appears. According to him, this issue will be discussed at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit.
“I think we’re getting much closer than people realize. Putin wants it to end. I will tell you that very strongly. We had a good call. Zelenskyy actually wants it to end now,” said the US president.
In his view, the war can be brought to an end.
