Russia attacks gas stations in Sumy and Zaporizhzhia: major fires occur

On the morning of June 25, russian troops struck gas stations in Sumy and Zaporizhzhia. In Sumy, a fire broke out after a drone struck a station, and in Zaporizhzhia, smoke was visible over the city.

Artem Kobzar, the acting mayor of Sumy, and Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, have reported this on Telegram.

At around 6:00 a.m., a “Molniya”-type UAV struck one of the gas stations in the Zarichnyi District of Sumy. A fire broke out at the site of the strike.

Information regarding possible casualties is being verified.

In Zaporizhzhia, a gas station was also hit as a result of the russian attack. Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that the smoke seen by city residents was caused by a strike on a gas station complex.

As a reminder, the day before, on June 25, russian occupation forces attacked a gas station in Sumy twice in a single day, resulting in one person being injured.
