Ukraine has received the seventh tranche of funding from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility, totaling EUR 2.8 billion. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this on her Telegram channel, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

According to her, taking into account the repayment of previously provided advance funding, the state budget actually received EUR 2.6 billion, bringing the total funding under this mechanism to over EUR 29.4 billion.

The funds will be directed toward financing priority expenditures of the state budget, particularly social and humanitarian needs.

"Ukraine has fulfilled a number of conditions for the next stages of financing ahead of schedule. For the first time, we will receive additional compensation for the early fulfillment of reform commitments," the prime minister noted.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ukraine Facility is a support program for Ukraine worth approximately EUR 50 billion, covering the period from 2024 to 2027. Since the program’s launch, Ukraine has already attracted over EUR 29.5 billion in budget support, of which more than EUR 10.6 billion is scheduled for 2025.

In May, the Verkhovna Rada ratified a memorandum and a loan agreement with the European Union to provide Ukraine with a loan of EUR 90 billion during 2026–2027. The memorandum sets out the conditions for receiving up to EUR 8.35 billion in budget support in 2026.
