Today, May 31, russian occupation forces cut off power to the city of Konotop and the entire Konotop District in the Sumy Region through airstrikes. In addition, the water supply has been disrupted.

Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin has reported this.

According to him, as of the morning of May 31, the enemy continues its airstrikes. At the same time, the city and district have “lost all power.”

"There is currently no water either…" the mayor added.

Semenikhin reported that he had ordered the preparation of the “Points of Invincibility” for operation, as well as the activation of generators at the water utility.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 31, russian troops attacked the territory of an enterprise in the Chernihiv Region with UAVs, resulting in a fire at a parking lot. Rescuers discovered the body of a deceased man while clearing the site.
