Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Mudra, following another massive Russian attack on Kyiv, called on international partners to accelerate the launch of the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Russia and the international compensation mechanism for Ukraine.
"The Kremlin knows exactly where it strikes. These are not mistakes or collateral damage. This is a deliberate state policy of terror against civilians. That is why the world's response must go beyond statements and include concrete decisions — a tribunal, convictions, confiscation of assets, and compensation for Ukrainian victims," Mudra stressed in Fb.
According to her, Ukraine's partners must speed up the political and legal procedures required to establish international accountability mechanisms for Russia.
"How much longer will Russian money remain in Western banks while Ukrainians are pulling people out from under the rubble? Russian assets must already be working for Ukraine's recovery and compensation for the families of victims," she said.
Mudra emphasized that the Special Tribunal and the International Compensation Commission must become operational as quickly as possible, as every new Russian attack only further proves the necessity of inevitable punishment for the aggressor state.
