Air defense forces neutralize 58 missiles and 402 drones during night attack by russia, hits at 11 locations

On the night of Saturday, March 14, russian troops launched 68 missiles of various types and 430 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 460 air targets: 58 missiles and 402 drones.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of March 14 (from 6 p.m. on March 13), the enemy launched a combined strike on critical infrastructure facilities of Ukraine using strike UAVs, land-based and sea-based missiles.

In total, the Air Forces' radio-technical troops recorded 498 air attack means:

- 2 Zircon anti-ship missiles (launch area - occupied Crimea);

- 13 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (launch area - Bryansk Oblast of the russian federation);

- 25 Kalibr cruise missiles (launch area - the Black and Caspian Seas);

- 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch area - Vologda Oblast of the russian federation);

- 4 Kh-59/69 guided aerial missiles (launch areas - Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, occupied territory of the Donetsk Region);

- 430 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia), Hvardiiske, Chauda (both - Crimea); about 250 of them were Shaheds.

The main direction of the attack was the Kyiv Region.

According to preliminary data, as of 9 a.m., air defense systems shot down/suppressed 460 targets - 58 missiles and 402 drones of various types:

- 1 Zircon anti-ship missile;

- 7 Iskander-M /S-400 ballistic missiles;

- 25 Kalibr cruise missiles;

- 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles;

- 1 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missile;

- 402 enemy UAVs of various types.

Hits by 6 missiles and 28 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments) UAVs at 7 locations.

Information on four enemy missiles is being clarified.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of March 13, the russians launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 126 strike drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 117 drones.
