Israel has struck the building of the Iranian Council of Experts, where a meeting was held to elect a new spiritual leader of the country. It was reported by Axios, The Times of Israel and the Israel Defense Forces on X on Tuesday, March 3.
The Israeli Defense Forces conducted an air strike on a building housing Iran's Council of Experts, the spiritual body responsible for electing a new supreme leader. According to reports, 88 high-ranking Shiite clerics were gathered in the city of Qom when the Israeli air force struck the site
