Overnight into February 28 (from 6 p.m. on February 27), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh Oblast - russia, as well as 105 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of: Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - russian federation, and TOT of the Donetsk Region, Hvardiiske - TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 60 of them were Shaheds.
This is stated in the text of the operational message from the command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m., air defense shot down/suppressed 96 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
Hits by 6 attack UAVs and falling debris at 7 locations were recorded.
"The attack continues, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow the safety rules!", the Ukrainian Air Forces emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces reduced the number of the russian occupation army by 770 invaders over the past day.
