On the night of Thursday, February 12, the aggressor country russia launched 219 attack drones and 25 missiles at Ukraine. The main target of the attack was the energy sector in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro. In addition, there is damage in other regions. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported this on his Telegram channel.

"Since the night, repair crews and rescuers have been working at the sites of Russian strikes. In total, there were 219 attack drones overnight, most of them were Shaheds, as well as 25 missiles, 24 of them ballistic. Most of them were neutralized, but, unfortunately, not all of them," he wrote.

According to the President, two people were killed and more than ten people were wounded in the attack.

"The main target of the attack is the energy sector in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro, generation and substations. There is damage in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv and Kherson Regions. In Kramatorsk, a drone struck a building of the State Emergency Service. The situation in the capital is difficult: many houses are left without heat," Zelenskyy added.

He emphasized that there should be more protection of life from russian strikes.

"Petriots work most effectively against Russian ballistics, and the supply of missiles for these systems is needed every day. I am grateful to all the countries that contribute to the PURL program. Everything that is currently in the air defense program should be delivered faster. I am grateful to the leaders who understand this and help," the President summarized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of February 12, russians attacked an energy facility in the Odesa Region again, the 31st large DTEK substation in the region. The damage is extensive.
