President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that this week the military of the aggressor country russia launched more than 1,300 attack drones, about 1,050 guided aerial bombs and 29 missiles of various types at Ukraine.

He said that the situation in the power system remains difficult, but everything is being done to restore everything as soon as possible.

"And during the night there were more than 200 attack drones. The Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi and Odesa Regions were under attack," the President said.

According to him, dozens of people, including a child, were injured in the night shelling. It is also known that two people were killed.

"I thank all our people, all the repair teams who are working around the clock to restore energy after the Russian strikes. In every city, in every community, in difficult weather conditions, you are returning light, heat and water supply. This is extremely hard work, but it is precisely this work that adds internal stability to our country, which also supports our positions in diplomacy," Zelenskyy wrote.

According to him, Ukraine still needs more defense, first of all, more missiles for air defense systems.

"If Russia deliberately delays the diplomatic process, the world's reaction should be decisive: more help for Ukraine and more pressure on the aggressor. I am grateful to all the partners who are with us now, who are ready to help protect lives and strengthen Ukraine, to work together to restore security," the President added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the aggressor country russia is considering attacks on substations of Ukrainian nuclear power plants. The purpose of such attacks is to force Ukraine to sign unacceptable surrender demands to end the war.
