Participants of the Olympic Dreams international project, athletes of the Ukrainian national team, visited the Ukrainian pavilion "Not For Sale" at the World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
The visit took place during the Ukrainian athletes' stay in Japan as part of an international training camp organized by the Olympic Dreams project. The visit to the exhibition served as a reminder of the mission that unites sport, culture, and the strength of a country that continues to fight and inspire the world.
A pavilion that speaks of values
Ukraine is represented at Expo 2025 in the "Not For Sale" pavilion. Its main idea is to show that some things cannot be bought — freedom, dignity, life, and independence.
The pavilion is designed as a "store" where, instead of price tags, there are codes that lead to stories of real Ukrainians who demonstrate the value of humanity, courage, and resilience.
Ukrainian athletes supported the exhibition dedicated to those who preserve and develop Ukraine even in the most difficult times — from doctors and teachers to entrepreneurs and artists. This experience became an emotional confirmation for young people that being Ukrainian is not only about nationality, but also about values.
"The visit of the national judo team to the pavilion was a remarkable and vibrant event, which once again drew the attention of Japan and the international community to Ukraine at Expo 2025 in Osaka. It is a great honor for us to welcome our Olympic future, and we received a lot of attention from representatives of other countries' pavilions," said Inna Ilyina, director of the Ukrainian pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025.
Support that brings people together
The team's visit became possible thanks to the support of Ukrainian philanthropist Anatoliy Boyko, the initiator of the Olympic Dreams project, who has been systematically helping Ukrainian children and athletes since the beginning of the war.

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, is one of the largest events of the decade, held under the slogan "Designing Future Society for Our Lives." More than 150 countries and international organizations are participants in the exhibition, and the number of visitors is expected to reach 28 million. The Ukrainian pavilion "Not For Sale" is part of the official Expo program and presents the true values of Ukraine to the world — humanity, freedom, dignity, and strength of spirit.
