Commander of “Azov” Denys “Redys” Prokopenko awarded Pavlo Fuks a certificate of honor

Pavlo Fuks was awarded a special award of the brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” for strengthening the unit’s combat effectiveness. The award was signed by the commander of “Azov” Denys Prokopenko.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, businessman Pavlo Fuks provides support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense and the families of dead and injured Ukrainian soldiers, as well as Kharkiv residents and residents of the region who need the humanitarian assistance.

According to the results of 2023, the total amount of funds allocated for assistance exceeded 30,750,000 million hryvnias.

At the beginning of the year, Fuks donated the defenders of the special forces units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who carry out tasks on the front line, 55 DJI quadcopters and 30 armored vehicles.

He also purchased and donated 30 armored vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense, “Azov” brigade and “Kraken” special forces, as well as 2 SUVs for border guards.

In the summer of 2023, Fuks purchased and donated 100 iFlight Nazgul XL10 quadcopters to the company’s soldiers of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Ivan Sirko, performing combat missions on the front line.

In the fall of 2023, Pavlo Fuks donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine new armored vehicles to take out the wounded from the front line, as well as a new delivery of the “Drone Army”. Also for special purpose aerial reconnaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine drones were purchased. 

This year Pavlo Fuks Charitable Foundation continued to place distribution points for cooked meals in Kharkiv, Izyum, Balakliya, Kupyansk and other cities of the Kharkiv region.

In 2022, Pavlo Fuks donated more than $8 million aid.

Thanks to the assistance of businessman Pavlo Fuks the Kharkiv garrison of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region received two new fire and rescue vehicles based on the Renault K440 6X6. Also, Fuks bought modern fire helmets, protective masks and special footwear Michelin for Kharkiv firefighters.

By order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, Pavlo Fuks was awarded the insignia of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine – medal “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.

For a significant personal contribution to providing comprehensive assistance to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and active volunteering under martial law, by order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Pavlo Fuks was awarded the badge of honor “For Assistance to the Army”.

For providing logistical assistance to intelligence units and cooperation with the National Guard of Ukraine, Pavlo Fuks was awarded the gratitude of the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Yuriy Lebid.

The commander of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after ataman Ivan Sirko Pavlo Fedosenko expressed gratitude to Pavlo Fuks for helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as for true patriotism and responsibility for the future of Ukraine.

For cooperation in providing assistance to the Ukrainian army and for an active civic position in the struggle for the independence of Ukraine, Pavlo Fuks received gratitude from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov.

From the head of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Dusyk, Pavlo Fuks also received a diploma with honors for his active position in protecting the independence, state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for counteracting open armed aggression against Ukraine.

The commander of a separate detachment “Omega” of the National Guard of Ukraine awarded Pavlo Fuks with a distinction “For cooperation and patriotism”.

Fuks also received an award from the commander of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo – Roman Mamavko – for cooperation, significant assistance to military personnel and for his personal contribution to repelling and deterring the aggressor.

For humanitarian assistance for special police units “KORD” and assistance in ensuring the territorial integrity of Ukraine during martial law, as well as for the provision of material and technical assistance to intelligence units and fruitful cooperation with the National Guard of Ukraine, Pavlo Fuks was awarded gratitude from the head of the Department “KORD” Mykola Putiy.

Pavlo Fuks was awarded an honorary badge by the Commander of the Operational Command “West” Sergiy Litvinov.

For active social work, volunteer initiative and logistical support for the military personnel of the 3rd Operational Brigade named after Petro Bolbachan of the National Guard of Ukraine, as well as for assistance in the struggle for the protection of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine Pavlo Fuks received gratitude from the commander of the military unit 3017 of the National Guard of Ukraine Olexandr Pivnenko. 

For organizing and providing comprehensive volunteer assistance to units of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an active life position, patriotism and a significant contribution to achieving victory over the Russian invaders the head of the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces “Vostok” Olexandr Zugrava awarded Pavlo Fuks with a badge and a diploma.

In May 2022, Forbes Ukraine reported that businessman and philanthropist Pavlo Fuks sent about $5 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense Forces, the National Guard of Ukraine and to help the families of the dead and injured Ukrainian soldiers.

Earlier, Pavlo Fuks bought two X-ray diagnostic complexes for doctors in Kharkiv for UAH 13.4 million and donated UAH 2.7 million to the families of officers and cadets of the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub, who died in a plane crash near Chuguiv, Kharkiv region.

Reference. Pavlo Fuks is a businessman and philanthropist, born in Kharkiv, a citizen of Ukraine. His charitable projects cover the spheres of social assistance, medicine, education, religious life, culture and educational activities.

Pavlo Fuks is one of the initiators and co-founders of the Memorial Center. Together with other initiators on September 29, 2016 made a public commitment to erect a Memorial at Babyn Yar. Over four years, Pavlo Fuks donated about $6 million for the construction of the Memorial.

Thanks to the efforts of Pavlo Fuks the temple of the holy noble queen Tamara in Piatykhatky was built. He financed the reconstruction of school No. 4, where he studied and also took part in the reconstruction of Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic. He financed the installation of a monument to the Founders of the city of Kharkiv and the Monument to the Independence of Ukraine.

According to a number of trusted mass media, Fuks does not have Russian citizenship.
