Russian combat losses sharply increase. Occupiers loose over 1,000 fighters, 22 tanks and large ship over day
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine on the morning of Tuesday, December 26, amounted to 1,010 invaders. The total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion made approximately 354,960 of troops. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 22 tanks, 37 AFVs and an enemy ship.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 12/26/23 were approximately:
- personnel - about 354,960 (+ 1,010) people eliminated;
- tanks - 5,899 (+ 22) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 10,956 (+ 37) units;
- artillery systems - 8,366 (+ 19) units;
- MLRS - 9,934 units;
- air defense equipment - 614 (+ 1) units;
- aircraft - 329 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 6,458 (+ 22) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,618 (+ 1) units;
- ships/boats - 23 (+ 1) units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 11,109 (+ 34) units;
- special equipment - 1,239 (+ 5) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last Friday, December 22, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the destruction of three Su-34 aircraft of the russians at once. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that it was possible to shoot down the russian aircraft thanks to a brilliantly planned operation. Meanwhile, the Air Force confirmed the downing of two Su-34 and Su-30 fighters.
