AFU destroy 550 invaders, 8 tanks and 33 artillery systems. General Staff named russia's losses for day
The Ukrainian military continues to inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the russian occupiers. Thus, the Defense Forces eliminated another 550 invaders during the day, as well as destroyed 8 tanks, 33 artillery systems and 17 enemy drones.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to September 12, 2023 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 269,760 (+550) persons were eliminated,
- tanks - 4,568 (+8) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 8,778 (+11) units,
- artillery systems - 5,872 (+33) units,
- MLRS - 764 (+4) units,
- air defense equipment - 515 (+3) units,
- aircraft - 315 units,
- helicopters - 316 units,
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 4,645 (+17) units,
- cruise missiles - 1,455 units,
- ships/boats - 19 units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 8,413 (+43) units,
- special equipment - 8,413 (+43) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor country of russia mobilizes about 20,000 people every month for the war with Ukraine.
Earlier, the Defense Intelligence stated that russia plans to mobilize several hundred thousand more people for the war against Ukraine as part of the already massive mobilization.
