AFU eliminate another 340 occupiers, 23 AFVs and 20 drones. General Staff reports enemy losses per day
The defense forces of Ukraine eliminated 340 russian occupiers per day, thus the enemy has already lost 259,160 troops since the start of a full-scale invasion of our country. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 23 more AFVs, 3 air defense systems and 20 enemy UAVs.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 08/24/23 were approximately:
- personnel - about 259,160 (+ 340) people eliminated;
- tanks - 4,375 (+ 2) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 8,511 (+ 23) units;
- artillery systems - 5,333 (+ 15) units;
- MLRS - 723 (+ 1) units;
- air defense equipment - 494 (+ 3) units;
- aircraft - 315 units;
- helicopters - 316 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 4,344 (+ 20) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,406 units;
- ships/boats - 18 units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 7,773 (+ 28) units;
- special equipment - 801 (+ 1) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor country russia mobilizes about 20,000 people for the war against Ukraine every month.
Earlier, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that russia plans to mobilize several hundred thousand more people to the war against Ukraine as part of a mass mobilization.
