DTEK Energo TPPs boost electricity production by 20% in May
In the first five months of 2023, thermal power plants (TPP) of the DTEK Energo company generated over 5.7 billion kWh of electricity in the Ukrainian energy grid.
This follows from a statement by the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"In the first five months of 2023, the company's thermal power plants generated more than 5.7 billion kWh of electricity in the Ukrainian power system. Such volumes are equivalent to the average consumption of about 1.9 million families for a whole year," the report says.
In May 2023, the company's TPP released more than 20% more electricity than in May last year.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the first four months of 2023, DTEK Energo TPPs generated 4.5 billion kWh of electricity.
DTEK Energo is part of the DTEK holding, which combines coal business, electricity generation, as well as mining engineering enterprises.
DTEK manages the energy assets of System Capital Management.
