Russian Troops Personnel Losses On August 18 Up 400 To 44,700 Killed, Equipment By 10 Tanks And 5 Air Defense Systems

On August 18, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 400 to 44,700 killed, and the Ukrainian military destroyed 10 tanks and 5 air defense systems over past day.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The enemy lost during the day 10 tanks (total - 1,899), 16 armored fighting vehicles (total - 4,195), 6 artillery systems (total - 1,016), 1 unit of rocket artillery (total - 266), 5 means of air defense (total - 141), 69 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 3,130), 1 unit of special equipment (total - 94) and 2 drones (total - 795).

Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 234 aircraft, 197 helicopters, 190 cruise missiles and 15 ships/boats.

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 17, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 44,300 killed, equipment - by 1 plane, 1 helicopter and 17 artillery systems.
