Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the Continental Tour Gold in Hengelo, Netherlands, clearing 1.94 meters.

It was reported by Suspilne Sport.

Mahuchikh began her competition at 1.91 meters and cleared it on her second attempt. After that, only Cuba’s Daxi Brison remained in contention for the victory, clearing that height on her third attempt.

The Ukrainian athlete also cleared the next bar at 1.94 meters on her second attempt. Brison was unable to make a successful jump at this height, securing first place for Mahuchikh.

After her victory, the Ukrainian track and field athlete attempted the 2-meter height three times, but none of her attempts were successful.

After the competition, Mahuchikh stated that she was dissatisfied with her result due to her failed attempt at the two-meter mark.

“I think next time I’ll come back here and jump much higher. I still need to work on my takeoff position because I wasn’t in my best form today,” the athlete said.

The victory in Hengelo marked Mahuchikh’s sixth consecutive win of the 2026 season, including indoor competitions.
