Occupiers building up coast of Sea of Azov for russians - National Resistance Center
The occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Region have launched a large-scale construction of the coast of the Sea of Azov for russians.
This is stated in a message from the National Resistance Center (NRC), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that the situation for residents of the region remains critical, since russian structures, instead of restoring housing for locals, are implementing commercial real estate projects.
According to the NRC, people from the temporarily occupied territories are deliberately delaying the consideration of applications for compensation and housing restoration.
Instead, they are offered temporary solutions - hostels or communal apartments with minimal conditions.
"The main resources are directed to the development of coastal areas. The new residential complexes are not intended for locals - they are planned to be sold to russians, in particular the military, security forces and imported specialists. In this way, the occupiers simultaneously make a profit and change the demographic composition of the region," the report says.
The NRC emphasizes that in fact this is a systemic colonization: while local residents remain homeless, the occupation authorities distribute land and build new infrastructure for the needs of russian citizens.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier the head of the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk Region, Denis Pushilin, actually confirmed the strategy of colonization by the aggressor country of russia of the territories captured.
