Ministry of Defense tells what penalties impostors in "pixel" face

Wearing a military uniform with chevrons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations by persons who are not entitled to do so is punishable by a warning or a fine of up to UAH 6,800. It was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

Only the following people have the right to wear military uniforms:

• military personnel;
• reservists;
• persons liable for military service at the training camp;
• cadets;
• those who are discharged from service with the right to wear military uniforms.

"Civilians cannot wear real military uniforms. But they can wear similar clothes without signs and symbols. "Military" is a style that only resembles the military. You can do something similar, but you can't copy it. It is forbidden to use statutory camouflage with armband emblems, chevrons and insignia of the Armed Forces or other military," the statement said.

What is the penalty for wearing a uniform with sleeve emblems, chevrons and without the right to do so:

• warning or fine of UAH 2,550-3,400 with confiscation of clothing;
• repeatedly - a fine of UAH 3,400-6,800 or 30-40 hours of community service, also with confiscation of uniforms.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense told what assistance is provided to the military when establishing disability in 2026.
