Russia fires 20 Shaheds at one substation in Zhytomyr Region

Russian occupants carried out a massive raid on a power facility in the Zhytomyr Region, sending about 20 kamikaze drones to one substation. Oleksii Sheketa, the Chairman of the Board of Zhytomyroblenergo JSC, has reported this.

The critical infrastructure of the region was the target of the attack by Shahed drones.

According to the head of the energy company, such a number of drones concentrated at one facility indicates the enemy's intention to completely destabilize the region's power system.

"About 20 Shaheds per substation. Isn't it like our energy system is a bone in their throat?" Sheketa said, commenting on the actions of the invaders.

Despite the intensity of the attack, power engineers assured that the situation remains under control.

"We know what to do," the head of Zhytomyroblenergo emphasized, adding that specialists are ready to eliminate the consequences and restore the damage.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Mykolaiv and two districts of the region were left without electricity after a power outage.

An important power facility was damaged in the Chernihiv Region. 5,000 consumers are without electricity.
