Gasoline cars remain popular, market grows by 22% in March - UkrAutoprom
In March 2026, 13,100 passenger cars with gasoline engines joined the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 22% more than in March 2025.
This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that of this number of new cars, 2,500 units (+33%) and 10,600 units of used cars (+19%).
The TOP-5 models of new passenger cars with gasoline internal combustion engines are: Hyundai Tucson - 212 units; Mazda CX5 - 123 units; Suzuki SX4 - 123 units; Renault Duster - 107 units; Skoda Karoq - 97 units and KIA Sportage - 96 units.
The TOP-5 imported pre-used gasoline cars are: Volkswagen Tiguan - 705 units; Volkswagen Golf - 628 units; Nissan Rogue - 585 units; Audi Q5 - 562 units and Audi A4 - 319 units.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in February 2026, 10,800 passenger cars with gasoline engines were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 11% more than in February 2025.
In 2025, 26,300 new cars with gasoline engines were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 6% less than in 2024.
