Toyota Rav-4 holds the lead among new passenger cars purchased by private buyers in March - Ukravtoprom

In March 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with more than 5,900 new passenger cars in the private and corporate sectors of the car market, the most popular in the private sector remains Toyota Rav-4.

This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The message says that 64% of passenger cars were sold to private clients, and 36% were purchased by legal entities.

Compared to March 2025, sales of new passenger cars in the private segment of the car market increased by 12%, and in the corporate segment by 26%.

When purchasing new passenger cars, private buyers preferred the following models: Toyota Rav-4 - 374 units; Hyundai Tucson - 195 units; Renault Duster - 125 units; Volkswagen Touareg - 116 units and Mazda CX5 - 114 units.

At the same time, the following were in greatest demand among legal entities: Renault Duster - 282 units; Volkswagen Touareg - 88 units; Renault Taliant - 81 units; Skoda Octavia - 80 units and Toyota Rav-4 - 79 units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with more than 4,400 new passenger cars in the private and corporate sectors of the car market, the most popular in the private sector remained the Toyota Rav-4.

In 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 81,300 new passenger cars in the private and corporate sectors of the car market, the most popular in the private sector was the Volkswagen ID.Unyx.
