Diesel bestseller among new cars in February is Toyota LC Prado - Ukravtoprom

In February 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, the demand for cars with diesel engines decreased by 12% to 4,300 units.

This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Thus, last month, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 1,100 new cars with diesel engines (+8%) and 3,200 used cars imported from abroad (-17%).

The TOP-5 models of new diesel cars were: Toyota LC Prado - 219 units; Renault Duster - 206 units; Volkswagen Touareg - 106 units; Toyota Hilux - 55 units and KGM Musso Grand - 47 units.

TOP-5 imported used diesel cars: Renault Megane - 232 units; Nissan Qashqai - 217 units; Skoda Octavia - 208 units; Volkswagen Passat - 175 units and Hyundai Santa Fe - 131 units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, the demand for cars with diesel engines increased by 17% to 5,000 units.
