Mykhailo Rebryk heads NBU's Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department

Mykhailo Rebryk has been appointed Director of the Department of Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis of the National Bank of Ukraine as of March 6, 2026.

This is stated in the message of the NBU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The scope of his responsibility will include, in particular:

The Department of Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis belongs to the Monetary Stability vertical, which is supervised by Deputy Governor Volodymyr Lepushynskyi.

Mykhailo Rebryk has been working at the National Bank since April 2020, in particular, since December 2025, he has served as Director of the Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department.

From December 2024 until his appointment as Director, Mykhailo Rebryk worked as Deputy Director of the Department - Head of the Monetary Policy Division of the Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department, and in 2020-2024 - Head of the Monetary Policy Division of the Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department.

Before joining the NBU, he worked for two years as Chief Macroeconomic Analysis Officer at the Treasury of Raiffeisen Bank.

He has many years of experience in research and teaching: at the Cherkasy Institute of Banking of the University of Banking of the National Bank (2014-2018), Sevastopol Institute of Banking of the National Bank (2012-2014), Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank (2008-2011).

Mykhailo Rebryk graduated with honors from the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine in 2008 (Master of Banking). In 2012, he received a PhD in Economics.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Andrii Bukvych was appointed as the Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the National Bank of Ukraine on February 18, 2026.
