Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko is dissatisfied with the work of Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksii Kuleba and is considering his replacement. Ukrainska Pravda has reported this, citing its own sources in government circles.

The main complaint against the official is the failure to communicate with the parliament on financing the road sector after a difficult winter.

Sources say the prime minister is "painfully reacting" to Kuleba's activity, and the situation with broken roads across the country has added to tensions. One of the Servant of the People deputies explained the essence of the claims:

"Now we had a hard winter. The asphalt melted along with the snow all over the country. It needs to be repaved quickly, repairs need to be launched. And Kuleba explains to the prime minister that MPs cut the budget and took away money from road repairs. But it was his job to be a member of that committee in the Rada, to convince MPs, to ask for money. Because now all this negativity will fall on the government and the President," said one of the Servant of the People MPs.

The most likely successor to the post of the head of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development is the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov. According to the publication, he has a "warm relationship" with Svyrydenko and the faction's leadership, and the President is sympathetic to him. However, the question remains whether a person from another field will be able to quickly produce results in the critical infrastructure sector.

Despite these discussions, Kuleba's actual dismissal is still in question. According to Ukraiinska Pravda, the ruling faction itself does not yet have a single answer on personnel rotations, nor does it have the required number of votes for any particular candidate. At the same time, at official meetings with the President, Svyrydenko and Kuleba continue to show an "idyllic picture" of cooperation, hiding real contradictions.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine wants to raise EUR 5 billion to prepare for the next heating season.
