Ukraine offers Fico visit to discuss all outstanding issues

Ukraine has offered Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico two specific dates for a visit to the country to discuss all outstanding issues, the Office of the President reported.

Thus, the Ukrainian side offers Fico to visit on March 6 or 9 to "discuss all outstanding issues," as agreed in a telephone conversation between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

On February 27, in a telephone conversation with Zelenskyy, the Slovak Prime Minister stated that his country is experiencing an ongoing oil crisis, which is why he wanted to know when and whether oil transit through the territory of Ukraine would be resumed.

Fico accepted Zelenskyy's invitation to hold joint Ukrainian-Slovak negotiations on cooperation. However, as a result of the telephone conversation, he stated that he "got the clear impression" that the Ukrainian side is not interested in resuming oil transit through the territory of Ukraine.

And on February 23, Fico announced that Slovakia had officially suspended emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine.

The Slovak opposition accused Fico of treason after the decision on electricity for Ukraine
