The Slovak opposition party Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) is going to file a criminal complaint against Prime Minister Robert Fico's decision to stop emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine. Dennik N writes about this.
MP Karol Halek said that the Slovak Prime Minister is opening a new front against Ukraine on the side of dictator vladimir putin.
The content of the criminal complaint concerns abuse of power by a civil servant, treason, inhumanity, a terrorist act and breach of duty in managing someone else's property, said SaS leader Branislav Greling.
The opposition party organized a press conference in front of the Prosecutor General's Office building.
According to Halek, as a result of the stoppage of supplies to Ukraine, there may be no electricity in the hospital where the wounded will be operated on after the russian attack.
As a reminder, after the russian attack on infrastructure in the Brody area (Lviv Region) on January 27, the Druzhba oil pipeline was damaged, which caused the transit of russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia to be suspended. Hungary and Slovakia responded by halting the export of diesel fuel to Ukraine, demanding the resumption of supplies.
On February 23, Fico announced that Slovakia was officially suspending emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine. Ukrenergo stated that the suspension of emergency assistance from Slovakia would not affect the power system.
