Taras Chmut appointed as member of Supervisory Board of Defense Procurement Agency - Fedorov

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Taras Chmut, head of the Come Back Alive Foundation, as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA). Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Thursday, February 5.

Fedorov noted that Chmut's appointment will strengthen the Supervisory Board, which is responsible for the strategic management of the agency, achieving the tasks set by the government, compliance with the law and transparency of work.

The Defense Minister also discussed the following key tasks with Chmut:

Fedorov emphasized that Taras Chmut is an effective leader who, as head of the Come Back Alive Foundation, has built a system of support for the Defense Forces that performs tasks ranging from working with the real needs of the frontline to quality control, procurement and rapid delivery to the frontline. This experience of Chmut is critically important for the transformation of public defense procurement, the head of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 25, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov appointed Serhii (Flash) Beskrestnov as his advisor on defense technology.

On January 22, Fedorov appointed volunteer Serhii Sternenko as his advisor on increasing the use of UAVs at the front.
