Russia strikes two foreign-flagged ships with drones in port of Chornomorsk

Russian terrorist forces attacked two civilian vessels - a tanker under the flag of Panama was just entering a Ukrainian port, and a vessel under the flag of San Marino was leaving with a cargo of corn.

Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba has reported this.

"An enemy UAV hit a Panamanian-flagged tanker waiting to enter the port to load vegetable oil," the statement said.

One crew member was wounded and is being treated. Maritime rescue services are on the spot, the fire on board is being eliminatedю

In addition, a vessel flying the flag of San Marino was attacked as it was leaving the port with a cargo of corn. There were no casualties, the vessel continues to move.

"This is yet another proof that Russia deliberately attacks civilian vessels, international trade and maritime safety," Kuleba emphasized.

Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that the Panama-flagged vessel was in the waiting area and was heading to the port of Chornomorsk to load oil. The hit was recorded in the superstructure of the vessel, without further fire. One crew member was seriously injured and promptly evacuated by the Ukrainian Navy to the port of Odesa, where he received the necessary medical care.

The enemy's second attack was on a bulk carrier flying the flag of San Marino, which was moving out of the waiting area. The fire was quickly localized. Fortunately, no one was injured.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as a result of russian massive attacks on the Pivdennyi port (Odesa Region) vegetable oil leaked into the water area. The port water area is closed until the consequences of the leakage are completely eliminated.
