Journalist and Made in Ukraine project leader Yulia Savostina has become the head of the state-owned enterprise Re-Inform News Agency under the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity. The Ministry of Social Policy has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

On December 26, Savostina took up her duties as director of the Re-Inform news agency.

Previously, Savostina was an expert at the Restoration Office at the Ministry of Culture, where she worked on intangible cultural heritage, cooperation with UNESCO, preparation of legislative proposals and training programs for cultural project managers.

Before working in cultural management, Savostina worked in media and communications: she was a news journalist at STB TV channel, a presenter and journalist at ICTV, a presenter at Ukraina TV channel, and headed a PR agency.

The Ministry of Social Policy notes that the Re-Inform news agency is engaged in ensuring the information policy of Ukraine's unity, developing national identity and informing citizens about opportunities in Ukraine, it works to create and disseminate information products, counteract disinformation, conduct information and educational campaigns, as well as produce and distribute materials in the media, social networks and other communication platforms.

"I will try not only to use my managerial skills and creativity, but also to establish communications with Ukrainians abroad, trying to reach the most remote places in the world where we have been scattered by the great war," Savostina wrote on Facebook.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in December, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the creation of a limited liability company "National Unity Agency" by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity

In July, the Cabinet of Ministers merged the Ministry of National Unity into the Ministry of Social Policy and renamed the Ministry of Social Policy to the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity.
