Zelenskyy: Ukraine records increase in russia's ties with China on space intelligence
Ukraine has recorded an increase in russia's ties with China regarding space intelligence data. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Zelenskyy spoke about the report of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, on several fundamental areas, including the state of russian military production and russia's cooperation with companies and entities from other countries.
"In particular, we have recorded an increase in Russia's ties with those entities in China that can provide space intelligence data. Unfortunately, there have been correlations between Chinese satellites' imagery of Ukraine and Russian hits on the relevant energy facilities," he said.
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine considers such cases as activities that allow russia to prolong the war and make approaches to diplomacy less serious and will communicate with partners on this issue.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in December, Zelenskyy said that China was taking steps to activate cooperation with the aggressor country russia, in particular in the military industry, which is confirmed by intelligence from Ukraine's partners.
On December 22, Zelenskyy said that by the end of the year, Ukraine was preparing several more sanctions decisions against russian entities, as well as those who assisted russian aggression, including individuals from China. After that, China called on Ukraine to correct its behavior and avoid unlawful actions against China.
