SSU destroys MiG-31 fighter jet with full ammunition during night operation in Crimea
During a nighttime special operation in occupied Crimea, the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed a MiG-31 fighter jet with a full ammunition package.
Last night, long-range drones of the SSU Alpha Special Operations Center successfully practiced on russian air defense components at the Belbek military airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
During the operation, a MiG-31 aircraft with a full ammunition package was hit.
The estimated price of this fighter is USD 30-50 million, depending on the configuration and weapons.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the SSU has blown up a russian submarine with launchers for Kalibrs. For the first time in history, Sub Sea Baby underwater drones blew up a russian 636.3 class submarine, the Varshavyanka (Kilo in NATO classification). As a result of the explosion, the submarine was critically damaged and effectively disabled. The cost of the Warsaw submarine is about USD 400 million. Given the international sanctions imposed, the construction of a similar submarine could currently cost up to USD 500 million. This class of submarines is also known as the "Black Hole" because of the hull's ability to absorb sounds and remain invisible to sonar. The SSU, using a UAV, hit russian oil production platforms in the Caspian Sea for the third time.
