Ukrzaliznytsia to dismantle bombed station in Fastiv and build new one

Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to completely rebuild the railway station in Fastiv. The building destroyed by russian drones will be completely dismantled, and a new modern station will appear in its place. This was announced by the mayor of the city, Mykhailo Netiazhuk.

An important stage will be the procedure of public discussions, which will ensure that all residents of the community will be involved in the work on the project.

Following the meeting of the headquarters for liquidation of the consequences of the attack, chaired by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, Ukrzaliznytsia decided to build a new station in Fastiv. The management found it inexpedient to fully restore the destroyed structure, since this is less economically justified than building a new one. For the period of work, a temporary modular structure will be installed on the platform to serve passengers.

We will remind you that on the night of December 6, 2025, the russian occupiers carried out a massive missile and drone attack on the Kyiv Region, as a result of which the building of the Fastiv I station was destroyed.
