Zelenskyy dismisses Yermak from NSDC and Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has decided to remove Andrii Yermak from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. This is stated in the presidential decrees published on the website of the Office of the President.

The relevant decrees of the Head of State come into force on the day of their publication.

Decree No. 902/2025 amends the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff and provides for the withdrawal of Andrii Yermak from its personal composition.

Also, Decree No. 901/2025 changes the composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, excluding Yermak from the list of its members.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak visited the office of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. He may be preparing to leave the country.

On November 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Andrii Yermak would resign as the head of the Presidential Office.

Shortly before that, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced searches at Yermak's place.

The next day, on November 29, Yermak gave a comment to the New York Post, in which he said that he was "ready for any reprisals". He also said that he intends to go to the front.
