President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) to apply personal special economic and other restrictive measures against pro-Russian propagandists and companies that support the russian military-industrial complex. This is stated in the message of the Office of the President, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The first decree concerns pro-russian propagandists - 14 individuals who justify russia's armed aggression and deny the occupation of Ukrainian territories and are financed by profits from the coal industry in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donbas.

In particular, the sanctions were imposed on a businessman, a coal baron of the Donetsk Region who kept his business in the ORDLO - the founder and head of the coal company Coal Energy Viktor Vyshnevetskyi, journalist of the 112 Ukraine channel Kateryna Zharkykh, priests of the UOC (MP) Ruslan Kalynchuk, Oleksii Zoshchuk, Serhii Chertylin, and director of the First Cossack Channel LLC Mykola Moisienko.

The second decree imposed sanctions against manufacturers and suppliers of the russian military-industrial complex - 10 individuals and 31 legal entities - residents of russia, China and Iran, including companies and their managers and owners, who are associated with the supply of equipment and components to russia in violation of sanctions. Sanctions were also imposed on Iranian government agencies and legal entities that supplied military products to russia.

It is noted that Ukraine continues to work on the introduction of new sanctions steps, synchronization of sanctions of partners in the Ukrainian jurisdiction and sanctions of Ukraine in the jurisdictions of partners.

One of Ukraine's key priorities is to prevent the supply of components to russia for its military-industrial complex, reduce oil revenues, fight the shadow fleet and counter russian propaganda.

"Since the beginning of the year, we have synchronized 11 packages with our partners. Six of them are with our colleagues from the European Union. Also the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Next month we will finish synchronization. We will fulfill all our plans and responsibilities. It is very important for us now that there is synchronization between the G7 countries," Zelenskyy said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy said that the losses of the aggressor state of russia from the recently imposed restrictions alone would amount to at least USD 50 billion per year.
