Naftogaz already imports about 400 million cubic meters of American LNG to Ukraine

The Naftogaz Group, in partnership with the Polish ORLEN, has already supplied about 400 million cubic meters of American liquefied gas to Ukraine in preparation for the winter of 2025-2026.

This is stated in the group's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The message states that American gas is imported through two terminals - Świnoujście in Poland and Klaipeda in Lithuania.

It is noted that as of mid-September, about 450 million cubic meters of American LNG had been contracted for delivery to Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the end of May, operators from 5 countries agreed on the supply of American LNG to Ukraine.

In early June, the Naftogaz Group and the Polish energy company ORLEN signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation.
