Suspect in Parubiy's murder says he would have killed Poroshenko if he lived in Vinnytsia

The suspect in the murder of former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy, Mykhailo Stselnikov, said that if he lived in Vinnytsia, he would have killed ex-President Petro Poroshenko.

He said this before the start of the court hearing on the appointment of a preventive measure for him, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Why Parubiy? Because he was nearby. If Petia [Petro Poroshenko, - ed.] was there, then it would be Petia. If I lived in Vinnytsia, then it would be Petia," the suspect said.

He once again recalled that the murder of Parubiy is revenge on the Ukrainian authorities. He also denied that he collaborated with the russian federation in this murder.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the suspect in the murder of former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy, who was a current MP, revealed his name and admitted that he killed him.
