Foreign Ministry calls meeting with Witkoff in New York "constructive"
The meeting with the US President's Special Envoy Steven Witkoff in New York was held in a constructive spirit. Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsia reported this on his X-account on Friday, August 29.
Kyslytsia noted that the meeting with Witkoff was long and important.
"From its very beginning to the last minute, it was held in a constructive spirit and with a sense of sincere desire to find working solutions for the implementation of the agreements between the Presidents of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the United States in Washington on August 18," the Deputy Foreign Minister wrote.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 29, the Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak announced the start of the meeting with the US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in New York.
