President's Office to reform: more military personnel will be among employees

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, said that he proposed to Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reform the Office. The main change, according to him, is that a "significant number" of the Office's employees should be military personnel with confirmed combat experience in a full-scale war or veterans of combat operations.

"Today I proposed to the President of Ukraine to reform the Office. We are talking about employees at all levels. In all departments without exception. Volodymyr Zelenskyy supported this idea. This is fair. Because these people are the measure of honor, morality and devotion to Ukraine. I know very well how the pace changes when people who have gone through the war are nearby," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Yermak noted that the military personnel are not looking for excuses, but for solutions on how to achieve results.

"An example is nearby. My deputy, Colonel Pavlo Palisa, previously commanded the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". During the war, he was responsible for the lives of his subordinates and the success of combat operations. Now in the Office he demonstrates the same speed, honesty and principle - for him this means remaining faithful to himself and the country," the head of the President's Office added.

According to Yermak, this is exactly the culture that should spread to the entire civil service in the future.

"And this is an example not only for the state. Business, IT, culture - should also take veterans into their teams. This makes the system stronger and fairer," he wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 17, the Verkhovna Rada appointed a new Cabinet of Ministers of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
