Russia launches missile strike on training unit of Ground Forces: 3 killed and 18 wounded servicemen

On the evening of July 29, russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the territory of a training unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is known about 3 killed and 18 wounded servicemen.

"Despite the security measures taken, unfortunately, it was not possible to completely avoid losses among personnel. As of 09:30 pm, it is known about 3 killed and 18 wounded servicemen," the message says.

As of the evening, the relevant emergency services were working at the scene, and the wounded were promptly provided with the necessary medical assistance.

"To clarify all the circumstances and causes of the loss of personnel, a commission headed by the head of the Military Law and Order Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been created and an internal investigation has been appointed," the Ground Forces said.

It is noted that if it is established that the death and injury of servicemen were caused by the actions or inaction of officials, the guilty will be held accountable.

The Ground Forces added that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ground Forces is taking additional security measures to preserve the life and health of servicemen during the aggressor's missile and air strikes on training grounds and training centers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 30, the aggressor state of russia targeted a building with a drone near one of the district territorial recruitment and social support center in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region. Civilians who were near the scene of the attack were injured.
