Ukraine plans to scale up its own explosives production - Svyrydenko
The new Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced that Ukraine plans to scale up its own explosives production. She said this on her Telegram channel, summing up the week of the new government's work.
According to her, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, a new grant competition has already been launched within the framework of Brave1 (a platform for cooperation between defense tech companies, the state and the military).
"We will scale up our own explosives production in Ukraine... Our goal is for everything, from equipment to chemicals, to be produced in Ukraine. Systematically and in the required volumes," the Prime Minister noted.
According to her, the new government has clearly defined four key priorities: human dignity, security, economic development and reconstruction.
Recall that on July 17, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Svyrydenko as Prime Minister. Zelenskyy personally invited her to head the government.
Zelenskyy also introduced Svyrydenko to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.
Meanwhile, Svyrydenko stated that the problem of corruption in Ukraine is exaggerated and overemphasized.
