One of the sources noted that after the conversation with the russian dictator, Trump was disappointed because putin intends to seize more Ukrainian territory. The US president realized that putin cannot be trusted, the publication writes.
"In his July 4 call with Zelenskyy, Trump said that Ukraine would not change the course of the war by playing defense and needed to go on the offensive, the Ukrainian official said. When Trump asked if Ukraine could bomb Moscow or St. Petersburg, the official said, Zelensky replied, "If we have the right weapons we can,"," the report said.
The supply of weapons, such as longer-range ATACMS missiles and other types of American weapons, if the transfer is concentrated over 50 days, could change the course of the war in Ukraine's favor, one of the officials said.
