Putin will deceive Trump, whole world will see it – President Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the issue of Ukraine should not be discussed at negotiations between the US and russia without its participation.

The Head of Ukraine stated this in an interview with the Newsmax TV channel, distributed by the Office of the President.

Zelenskyy noted that he has no right to tell the US how to conduct a dialogue with russia.

"But I believe that Putin does not want to end the war and, in the end, he will deceive Trump. You will see it, everyone, the whole world will see it. He is such a person. And he is ready for some steps, de-escalation, only if he is under strong pressure. No other way," said the Ukrainian leader.

The President added that he considers it wrong to discuss Ukraine at such negotiations without its participation.

"I believe that talking about Ukraine without Ukraine is wrong, talking about Ukraine and solving some issues without us - I believe that this is unfair," Zelenskyy noted.
