North Korean missiles become many times more accurate thanks to improvements by russian specialists - Budanov

North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles have become many times more accurate at hitting their targets thanks to the joint work of DPRK and russian specialists. This was reported by the head of the Defense Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with The War Zone.

The head of the Defense Intelligence notes that the russian federation has transferred technologies and knowledge to the DPRK so that the North Korean military can significantly improve the accuracy of KN-23 missiles.

When asked what russia gives North Korea in exchange for the supply of troops and weapons, Budanov said that the occupiers share technologies with DPRK specialists.

"I have already told you about the KN-23 ballistic missiles. Initially, when the transfer to russia began, they flew with a deviation of several kilometers, but now they accurately hit the target. This is the result of the joint work of russian and North Korean specialists," said the head of the Defense Intelligence.

Budanov also emphasized that the russians are currently helping the DPRK with the modernization of aviation weapons - long-range air-to-air missiles, as well as special technologies on submarines - for example, ballistic missiles, which are carriers of nuclear payloads.

"They had huge problems with the KN-23 missile carriers and firing from their sea component. And the russians are helping them with this. And a great demonstration of this for everyone is, as I mentioned earlier, this famous KN-23 ballistic missile. The KN-23 missiles that were delivered at the very beginning are now a completely different missile in terms of their technical characteristics. Accuracy has been increased many times," Budanov noted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Budanov revealed what kind of weapons the DPRK is transferring to the russian federation.

On the night of June 10, the aggressor state of russia attacked Ukraine with 322 airstrikes, including ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as 315 drones. Among them were North Korean missiles.
